 This message board is set up for comments regarding the Nautilus Cove Condominium, 13700 Panama City Beach Pky, in Panama City Beach, Florida.
The site is open to any residents of NCC, whether Owners or tenants, put down your opinions and comments and be ready for replies, some may be unfavorable. For the moment there are no banned words, depending on how this works out it may change.
You can post links to sites or articles but if you spam or put up advertisements they will be taken down.
Use the board to debate the issues but try to be somewhat civil to those who disagree with you. One of the problems at NCC is the lack of communication, this board might be of some use in getting information out to residents.

;D The Owners of the 112 Condos have an opportunity to change the TV provider from MDU/DirecTv to Knology.
MDU/DirecTv got the contract from the developer when the condo was being established. A MDU employee told me in 06 that when such developments are being built various providers 'bid' to get the contract. It seems that MDU (Multiple Dwelling Unit)/DirecTv bid the highest so we have them. I suspect that any funds paid went into some Developer pocket, I wouldn't say it would be a bribe, but if someone else said it I wouldn't argue the point.
While they had the contract they did such a bad job that our disfunctional management firm and BOD decided that in order to avoid complaints to them that they would allow Dish TV to also service the complex and put up their sat. dishes also.
Last count we had about 135+ assorted DirecTv and Dish sat. dishes, the place looks like Fred Sanfords junk yard with all the crappy dishes.
Now we have a chance to get Knology to come in and provide via cable our TV/Phone/Internet service. But in order to have them come in we have to get 75% of the Owners to say that they agree to this. We have about 25 completed forms at the office, we need probably 60 more. You can get additional details at: nautiluscondosrules.blogspot.com/.
We will not have any forms from those half dozen units in foreclosure and probably we won't get any co-operation here from those who are on the delinquent list as most of them are just counting down until they get bounced out by their bank or mortgage company, so they are unlikely to really care about the issue.
This leaves it up to EVERY other Owner to get these forms submitted. The Owners here are a pretty apathetic bunch so it is going to be uphill to reach the 75% mark. Do your part and make sure your unit has sent in the form! |

Well those condos are all now up for sale, although the prices are such that it is not likely that they will sell. Maybe they need the money for lawyers and need to sell the units?
